Fishtail Palm


A Fishtail palm is an attractive and distinctive palm tree with leaves shaped like a fishtail. The leaves are bipinnate and triangular. It is the only palm tree with bi-pinnate foliage,The fishtail palm grows in clumps to a height of 20-25 feet high. It produces flowers starting from the top of the trunk to the ground. After final flowering the palm dies.

Dypsis Lanceolata

Dypsis lanceolata (Ivovowo) is a tropical flowering plant from Comoros, just north of Madagascar. It occurs in rainforest as elevation of 1000 meters. Unique characteristics are multiple colorful ringed trunks and dark glossy green leaves.
It can reach ultimately a height of 20 feet.
This palm is vulnerable in the wild, but extremely popular with palm collectors.its beauty and size is perfect for any landscape.
